Norris & Samon was founded October 1, 1977 by Joel Samon. Our modest beginning included a handful of hard-working employees with a commitment to treating people fairly, delivering quality products and providing excellent service. These same hallmarks of service set the standard for the company in the beginning and have endured as our formula for success.
Today, the services we offer to the petroleum and fuel-handling industry are unmatched in our region. The company has 40+ employees serving customers in the Southeast United States. Over the years, we have expanded our services to provide fuel-handling professionals a wide-range of services to respond to the ever-changing needs of their businesses and customers as well as environmental and technological advances. Our specialized subsidiaries now offer everything a gas station or convenience store owner needs to remain competitive, from car wash systems to the latest point-of-sale machines and credit card processing services. We even offer comprehensive pre-construction site planning, design and permitting assistance for new construction, site expansion or upgrade projects.
In 2007, we changed our name to the Samon Group in order to better reflect the growing services of each of our specialized subsidiaries; Norris & Samon Car Wash Systems, Norris & Samon Pump Service and Norris & Samon Merchant Services.
We are proud to have realized our vision of continuing to deliver exceptional turn-key products and services to the petroleum and fuel-handling industry while utilizing our years of knowledge and expertise to coordinate and manage our customer's project and site work from first sketch to grand opening.
